Vespa Ride up Topanga

Wednesday night Chelle and I took the Vespa to sushi (it loves Philly rolls) and then cruised up Topanga canyon to the Santa Monica Overlook. California is cool.

Men at Work



This last weekend Trent traveled to Yaqui Drive with me and we whipped the yard into shape.


We had an erosion problem up the embankment by the fence. It was also missing some pizazz, so we built two retaining walls that double as planters and added a palm tree to the existing one that was empty.


The fire ring was just sitting in the dirt, so we built a little walkway through around it and then built up a retaining wall to keep the erosion to a minimum and give us a place to sit and keep warm at night.





We added a little fountain of mushrooms.


And then we relaxed.

The night time is the right time to enjoy the fire ring.


The yard is very relaxing at night, especially if you worked hard through the day.

Our new city

On the California side

We've taken the ferry boat over to the California side of Lake Havasu. We are all visiting the casino, but no one is gambling.
It wouldnt feel right to gamble on Easter.
