Cherish's First Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving from the Crowe family!

Turkey is ready for enjoying.

She is so happy she can barely smile.

Aunt Kimmy and Cherish excited about Turkey, Stuffing and Mashed Potatos.

Big girl in a very pretty dress.  Chelle made this dress for Cherish with the guidance and support of seamstress to the stars Sivje Crowe.  Check out her Sewing blog when you have the opportunity.  She is amazing! www.goosegirlsews.com/

Christian's 40th Birthday

On Saturday November 21st we celebrated Christian's 40th birthday. It was an 80's theme dance party.

The young couple.

Dj Trent flew in from Los Angeles to spin the jamz for us.

The 80's had the Coreys, we had the Brians.  Whitman and McSweeney.

Before the party really got started.  Furniture moved out of the way to make room for the rug cutting.

MixMaster Sonny Crocket, from TV's Miami Vice, behind the bar.

Our favorite neighbors came over in full regalia.

Clementine and Crockett were very good hosts.

You gotta love it. John and Kerri Jackson knew it was an 80's party, they just didn't realize it was the 1980s and not the 1780s.

Dancing

....and more dancing.

Enjoying the patio and taking a break from dancing.

Crawling forward and Standing on her own.

After months of scooting around the floor, (mostly backwards), Cherish is now mobile.  She has learned to crawl and is getting pretty good at it.

Cherish loves to jump in the jumparoo that her uncle Eric bought her.  So much in fact, that Thursday she decided to nap in it.

Cherish takes after her mother and truly can sleep nearly ANYWHERE ;-)

Sunday afternoon Cherish's Nonna walked in to check on the sleeping angel and found this: A "big girl" standing for the first time on her very own...ready for attention and Nonna hugs and kisses.
(She wasn't crying when Nonna first walked in, but once we all quickly gathered cameras and snapped, snapped, snapped the momentous occasion, Cherish wailed "PICK ME UP!" 2 more pics and we did heehee.

Morning tour of the grounds

It was a long day of travel yesterday but I made it. I'm in Honolulu til Thursday for work.

Went to find a Starbucks this morning and grabbed some photos. Probably won't get to enjoy much of the facility and even if I am able to, it won't be much fun without Bella and the baby.

9 Month Celebration of Cherish's Life

Our baby girl is already 9 months old!  She just keeps growing and growing.  We are absolutely delighted with her progress.  She has already read most of the books in our library and has topped my high score in Wii golf.  The other day my MacBook Pro was acting wierd, she drop into the Unix code and rewrote some drivers for my external hard drive that speed up the machine and doubled my memory.  She is developing into quiet the little lady.

Today we went to the Biltmore mall.  She told Chelle and I how cute she thought we all looked and asked if she could get some photos with us for her baby book.

We still have a long ways to go in outfitting the new place, but Cherish's room is coming along nicely.

Chelle planted a shoe tree and with daily watering it has sprouted all these cute baby shoes for Cherish.

The Guest Bedroom is made up and awaiting your visit.
