WE ARE HAVING A....!!!!
Today Chelle and I saw Dr. Platt who confirmed that we are in fact on track to have a child in our arms on January 9th 2009. We couldn't be happier!!!!
Chelle told me a few weeks ago when we went on a date to see "Baby Mama" that she was pregnant. What a great surprise. The difficult part was that we decided to keep it quiet until we had the opportunity see Dr. Platt. Over Father's day we were with my parents at the Lake House and we kept the secret. It was certainly difficult to keep our mouths shut since we were so happy and Chelle was so sick. We have now confirmed that everything is as it should be and we are ecstatic to tell the world we are 12 weeks and 4 days pregnant. The expected delivery date is January 9th, 2009.
On our way home we drove up the Pacific Coast Highway and enjoyed the sun setting over the Ocean. What a beautiful site.
Here is a clip of the ultrasound. This little Crowe is very active. You can see that the technician paused it a few times to get measurements, but when the ultrasound is running you can see our little child bouncing and kicking and swinging his/her arms. The doctor said everything looks good. We sure like hearing that and we hope he says it every time we visit him.
