Christmas Day 2006

Christmas dinner with the Crowe family. (From left to right) Mom, Dad, Sivje, Ahnalin, Don, Chelle, Christian, and India.

We had a great Christmas dinner together as a family.

Baby Ahnalin opening her toys.

Ahnalin got some great new toys from Santa and had a blast opening them and then playing with them.

We can't wait to dress our soon-to-be-baby in this comfy penguin outfit.

And this outfit.

And this one.

Christmas Eve at My Folks

We are having a good time at mom and dad's as we anxiously await the arrival of Sivje, Don, India and Ahnalin. They should arrive late tonight, so we can all wake up early tomorrow and see if Santa visits.
I hope everyone is having a great Christmas Eve.

Our Baby Bird

Wednesday we visited the doctor and were able to get these pictures of our first born (well first born to be).
We think baby is sucking his/her thumb, or he/she is scratching his/her nose.

Merry Christmas from the Crowes

Christian, Chelle, Crockett and Clementine would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

Mommy and her babies plus a baby bird in the nest.

Crockett is so hip hop that he had to wear his hat to the side.

2006 Naples Christmas Boat Parade

Saturday Night was the Christmas Boat Parade right here on our island. While parking was a big issue for many, it was the biggest plus of the event for us. At about 5:00pm they blocked all streets coming off 2nd into the neighborhood. People started flooding the streets heading to the canals to see the parade. Chelle and I walked down to the bridge just in time to see the last few boats of the parade. We had mistakenly thought that the parade went from 6 until 9. Anyway, the mood was far to festive to be upset and the crowds hung around and walked the canals to see all the lights.

I'm sorry these photos don't do the scene justice. The houses looked amazing on the water.

The Coneheads

Crockett and Clementine have been fixed. We figured one baby on the way is just about all we can handle at the moment. So for the next 10 to 14 days the wieners will be coned for their protection. We have got our hands full trying to help the little guys navigate their way around the house until they get used to the cones.

The 2006 Belmont Shore Christmas Parade

Last night we joined the masses walking over the bridge to the Belmont Shore Christmas Parade. Neither Chelle nor I realized what a big deal it is here. The street was blocked off earlier in the day so that no cars remained. All the way up and down 2nd street people lined the sidewalks and even the center median was covered with lawn chairs full of kids excited to see the parade.

Photos were taken at night so I attempted to brighten them up before posting and I think I messed them up pretty well.

There were several dogs in the parade, but this little guy was the belle of the ball. His back half was suspended above two wheels and his little front legs were moving like a humming bird's wings, just to keep up with the parade. Everyone fell in love with this little pup as he rolled by and you could tell he was wishing everyone a very merry Christmas.
